In episode 17:
After IBC, we catch up with Phill Lane from Top Teks and discuss how much was actually of interest to Cameramen. Steve has a little rant and wishes we all had rules of etiquette, and Paul shows his age by trying to explain how the Dambusters measured distance.
Plus, we have quite a lot of new kit to discuss this month!

Update:
The Redrock One Man Crew Director mentioned in this show had a number of faults which meant the unit had to be returned back to the States for repair. The main problem was the Bluetooth connection which wouldn’t! I’ve just received the package by return and now find that the main motor is flying loose around the inside… so obviously it still doesn’t work. It looks as though some small rubber mounts have either not been replaced correctly or broken during shipping. In short, I’m not convinced this Redrock product is strong enough for professional use. Maybe the problem is more to do with build quality but it’s a great disappointment because the whole thing showed great promise for much of the work I’m presently doing. – Paul
